Promoted to Heaven

On January 6th my dad, Dallas Hull, passed from this life into eternity. God’s direction was evidenced within our plans as I was able to re-route travel arrangements from a AK Bush Village and travel to Kansas in time to be with him and my family for his last hours. As he peacefully passed away the hospital room was filled with family praying over him and singing his favorite Hymn Victory in Jesus. I had the supreme honor of speaking at his Celebration Service. The Holy Spirit let us through a time of remembering Lessons from Dad. He is deeply missed by family and friends but, we know that he is now in Heaven helping Jesus run the place.

The following is from Kansas District Supt. Rev. Terry Yancey

When he yielded his life to Jesus as a middle aged man, he began a serious pursuit of the presence and character of Jesus. That race lasted twenty six years. Some people that knew him before his conversion doubted anything substantial would come from his profession of faith. His steady life provided proof that he had moved from the darkness of self-determination into the light of really following Jesus.

His last twenty six years of life were filled up and overflowing with an ever growing compassion, thoughtfulness toward others, gospel ministry, laughter, and love. All of us do well to emulate his heart and hunger for God.

Pastor Dallas finished his race the evening of January 6 while surrounded by those that loved him most. Evelyn, his wife of 54 years, their sons and daughter, and several grandchildren sang and prayed over him as he breathed his last. He stopped walking by faith and started walking by sight! Dallas Hull enriched and encouraged the lives of those he called his friends.

Anchorage Native Assembly

ANA

The first of the year, we were asked to serve as Interim Pastors at Anchorage Native Assembly. It’s been an honor to serve this great group of folks during this season of transition. Our time will be completed soon as the newly elected pastors will be on site in mid April.

I travelled to the far Western Alaska Village of Point Hope in February. Had a wonderful trip with great fellowship as we experienced God’s hand touching lives. I’m always blessed to hang out with such wonderful folks.

Camp Agaiutim Nune

Most of the funds are in for our new “Tabernacle Building”. We are forming plans to begin construction this summer during the month of August. Teams are in place for the first part, we do need additional workers for the second 2 weeks of August. Teams or individuals are welcome. Please let us know if you are interested in helping us with this Missions project in Western Alaska this July & August. Also, please keep the camp, its ministry, the campers and this project in prayer.

Thanks for your partnership!
