Our time as Interim pastors at Anchorage Native Assembly ended in April. We are happy to transition in the new pastors Phillip and Amy Boswell. This wonderful church has great days ahead.

I traveled to Emmonak after the barge arrived to organize and stack the building materials. All smaller items that were accessible were temporarily stored in the container located in Emmonak.

Prayer Needs

Prayer requests for Camp A.N.
• Safety for workers and students as they travel by air and boat.
• Spirit of God to move on lives, they would be changed.
• Protection and wisdom as we start construction on the new facility.

New Opportunity
• Pray with us for a media missionary. Numerous opportunities are available for someone that has and interest in using media to advance the Kingdom of God in Alaska.

Ministry Partners NeededDue to attrition over the years, our budget is in need of a boost. We are currently $933 short of meeting our monthly budget. If you or your church would consider sponsoring us with a monthly pledge or increasing your current pledge, we would be grateful.
We are also available for church services beginning this fall. If you would like us to come and speak or give a report on our ministry please email us @ thull@voicetothevillage.net or call 907-250-2101.

Thanks for your partnership!

U.S. Missions
Philippians 1: 3-6 "Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns".

Promoted to Heaven

On January 6th my dad, Dallas Hull, passed from this life into eternity. God’s direction was evidenced within our plans as I was able to re-route travel arrangements from a AK Bush Village and travel to Kansas in time to be with him and my family for his last hours. As he peacefully passed away the hospital room was filled with family praying over him and singing his favorite Hymn Victory in Jesus. I had the supreme honor of speaking at his Celebration Service. The Holy Spirit let us through a time of remembering Lessons from Dad. He is deeply missed by family and friends but, we know that he is now in Heaven helping Jesus run the place.

Dallas_Hull

The following is from Kansas District Supt. Rev. Terry Yancey

When he yielded his life to Jesus as a middle aged man, he began a serious pursuit of the presence and character of Jesus. That race lasted twenty six years. Some people that knew him before his conversion doubted anything substantial would come from his profession of faith. His steady life provided proof that he had moved from the darkness of self-determination into the light of really following Jesus.

His last twenty six years of life were filled up and overflowing with an ever growing compassion, thoughtfulness toward others, gospel ministry, laughter, and love. All of us do well to emulate his heart and hunger for God.

Pastor Dallas finished his race the evening of January 6 while surrounded by those that loved him most. Evelyn, his wife of 54 years, their sons and daughter, and several grandchildren sang and prayed over him as he breathed his last. He stopped walking by faith and started walking by sight! Dallas Hull enriched and encouraged the lives of those he called his friends.

Anchorage Native Assembly

ANA

The first of the year, we were asked to serve as Interim Pastors at Anchorage Native Assembly. It’s been an honor to serve this great group of folks during this season of transition. Our time will be completed soon as the newly elected pastors will be on site in mid April.

Point Hope

I travelled to the far Western Alaska Village of Point Hope in February. Had a wonderful trip with great fellowship as we experienced God’s hand touching lives. I’m always blessed to hang out with such wonderful folks.

Camp Agaiutim Nune

Most of the funds are in for our new “Tabernacle Building”. We are forming plans to begin construction this summer during the month of August. Teams are in place for the first part, we do need additional workers for the second 2 weeks of August. Teams or individuals are welcome. Please let us know if you are interested in helping us with this Missions project in Western Alaska this July & August. Also, please keep the camp, its ministry, the campers and this project in prayer.

Thanks for your partnership!

Merry Christmas from the Hull’s

Praying for you and your family to have a wonderful Christmas this Year.

All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’). Isaiah 7:14 NLT

World Missions Summit III

We had the opportunity to attend the World Missions Summit III in Fort Worth, Texas along with missionaries Lattis and Sharlotte Campbell.

We presented Alaska Missions at 3 one hour workshops and at our booth.

The evening Gatherings were deeply moving. Tears came to my eyes as I watched 4500 college students worship God with complete abandonment. On Sunday, 950 Students responded to the call to give a year and pray about a lifetime.

They flooded to the alter area and started singing I give myself away so you can use me.

This act of dedication touched me to my very core. Our future is Bright! Students told me they wrote ALASKA on their Give A Year commitment cards. While sitting at DFW waiting for my flight back to Alaska, a girl came up to me and said, “ I recognize you from the World Missions Summit. You are from Alaska. My friend filled out the 1 year commitment card and wrote Alaska on it.” I know we will see fruit from the seed we planted!

AK Trail Ministry

*Today was also a big day for Pastor Terry Hull and myself  We drove out ahead of the mushers on Terry’s snow machine and handed out 1,250 “Mush To Life” booklets with a “Mush to Life” lip balm in a zip lock bag.

It only took 15 miles to hand out all the gifts. There were 5,000 snow machines counted on the Iditarod trail today, according to the head trail groomer.

In John 20:21 The Lord said again, “Peace to You! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” Many times Terry and I heard people tell us that we were God sent or heavenly sent to them. They needed the Mush to Life lip balm for the healing of their lips. Then they would ask about the “ Mush to Life” booklet.

The memorial service for Pastor Tom Madole, who was working as Village  Public Safety Officer in Manokotak, was viewed online from all regions of the state. We are honored to provide DvD’s of the service to VPSO officers all across Alaska. A small TV station in one of our locations will rebroadcast the service to their region. These special events provide us additional opportunities to get the Gospel into every home in Alaska.

U.S. Missions National Rep.
